Job description

We are looking to expand our team of manufacturing staff to work in our production unit in Danehill, Sussex.

We require an experienced curtain and blind maker/machinist who has an ‘attention to detail’ mindset, heaps of positivity and who is happy to work as part of a team to achieve the highest standards. A positive attitude and practical aptitude is required in order to exceed clients' expectations.

You will be working as part of a small team within the company on a full-time basis. We pride ourselves on having a good reputation for client satisfaction so the best quality of work is required in a fast yet efficient manner.

You must have a good knowledge of industrial sewing/overlocking/blind hem machines plus previous experience in high-end manufacturing with a positive, hard-working attitude to your work.

Requirements

  • Experience in sewing using different industrial sewing machines.
  • Be able to work as a team and/or individually and take instructions when necessary
  • Be able to meet deadlines without compromising on high standards of quality
  • This is a full-time position based in our premises only (no outworkers or contractors need to apply)
  • Your own transport is advisable due to our rural location

Salary

Full-time/Permanent
Salary: In the region of £19,000.00 - £20,000.00 per year for the right person.

We work inside clients' properties and we ask that they vacate the area we are working in while on site. Currently we provide PPE and sanitiser for use in the unit if required. This may change in line with Government guidance.
